Program Description:
The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Entrepreneurship program is designed to prepare future entrepreneurs with the skills and knowledge to start their own businesses. The program will focus on identifying, analyzing and evaluating global and local business opportunities; creating new independent business ventures or new ventures within existing firms; developing creativity and understanding innovation; ethical and social responsibilities for entrepreneurs; environment assessment for new ventures; marketing research; financial planning; developing effective business plans to obtain financing; sources of capital; legal issues related to starting and operating a business; valuation; family owned businesses; succession; and opportunities for women and minority entrepreneurs.

Program Prerequisites:
For admission to the BBA in Entrepreneurship Program, students must:
- Complete 60 credits (Junior Standing), credits must be acceptable at UH Manoa if taken at another institution
- Have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
- Complete either LTEC 112 “Technologies for Academic Sucess” AND LTEC 113 “Technologies for Academic Sucess - Business” OR ICS 101 “Digital Tools for the Information World”
- Complete 7 Pre-Business core courses with a minimum of “C” grade (some courses will fulfill the general education requirements):
- English Composition (ENG 100/190/ESL 100, OR ENG 200)
- Calculus (BUS 250; NREM 203; OR MATH 203, 215, 241, or 251A)
- Speech (COMG 151 OR COMG 251)
- Principles of Microeconomics (ECON 130)
- Principles of Macroeconomics (ECON 131)
- Introduction to Accounting I (ACC 200)*
- Introduction to Accounting II (ACC 210)*
*Qualified High school applicants seeking direct entry to the program as first-year/freshman can apply for Direct Admit
