Prepare

For a

Bright Future

What kind of career do you want? Hawaii Career Pathways is a statewide commitment to give every student the tools they need to explore and plan an education-to-career pathway that’s right for them.

Who are you?

Bridging The Gap

Students need to learn the right skills today to succeed in the jobs of tomorrow. Hawaii Career Pathways builds bridges between schools and industries so students can get training and education for high-skill, high-wage professions. We work with employers to identify in-demand skills for jobs that haven’t been invented yet, and bring that knowledge to educators so they can build relevant, meaningful learning experiences. Together, we help students map a journey that connects their education with their future career.

Promising Credentials

Discover promising jobs and what degrees/certificates employers value. Identifying the right credentials to offer students matters now more than ever. Through intensive labor market analysis and outreach to local Hawai‘i businesses, here is a list of Promising Credentials that are associated with in-demand, living wage occupations throughout the state. Browse through credentials that lead to in-demand careers.

“My internship at a financial services firm gave me experience in a professional setting."

Sophia Lauren Lopez

“My business pathway internship gave me perspective on the trust it takes for one to handle such personal information (ie: Social Security Numbers, addresses, financial history, etc.), and I also learned about the significance of finance as a whole. I also got an actual job out of it! It really helped me choose a career path in business after graduation!”
